When young Sam ran away from home, he never imagined the hardships he faced at the hands of his aunt and uncle on the rough streets of 1840s London would be overshadowed by the journey his life was about to take. Survival came at a price, and he lost all his friends. Inside, he discovered directions to Captain John's inheritance: a treasure looted from the Spanish, hidden away by his great-grandfather. The cryptic map seemed plausible, given Sam's experience navigating waterways during the war. He knew these routes like the back of his hand, even in the dark.
